Somerset County Football League are delighted to announce that as from Season 2009-2010 they have entered into a sponsorship agreement with Errea Sportswear.
The Agreement was signed on Friday 22nd May 2009 at Errea South West offices in Kenn Road, Clevedon.
The agreement, between the Step 7 League and the major manufacturer, who last season provided kit to Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham Town, Burnley and Middlesborough amongst others, sees the culmination of negotiations which will hopefully benefit the clubs within the league.
Under the agreement, which is potentially worth about £20,000 over a 3 year period, the company will provide financial benefits to the clubs in respect of purchase of kit as well as providing financial assistance in the administration of the League.
Other arrangements within the agreement see the provision of kit to match officials in the League Cup finals and awards for the "Team of the Month".
The League will be renamed "Errea Somerset County Football League" and the League Cups will also carry the name of Errea.
