Extra:Time NLS series

Earlier this month, England Football’s Extra:Time team proudly launched a special ‘NLS Lens’ series.

The three-part feature explores the English Non-League System and how to run a successful, thriving club at this level.

Episode 1: Marine AFC
In this episode, Chairman Paul Leary and his team generously shared their journey in setting up a Community Trust and how that process has enriched the wider club, leading to increased attendances and volunteer numbers, as well as an improved fan experience.

Episode 2: Boro Rangers
Running a club at any level is not easy, and the NLS is no different. Countless hours are dedicated every week to ensure a high quality experience for players, coaches, volunteers, officials and fans. That’s why it’s a good idea to take a look at clubs who do things a bit differently. Boro Rangers’ recent growth is hugely impressive and in this episode, they share how innovating with partnerships and establishing solid communication channels have helped to make this success happen.

Episode 3: Horsham FC
Founded in 1881, Horsham FC is a well-respected, well-run football club with an illustrious history. Not only this, but across the footballing world, the Hornets have a fantastic reputation for being a lovely and welcoming club. Thanks to their highly-skilled volunteers who are armed with varied life experiences, this episode is full of tips on how to treat volunteers so that they love their work and the importance of harnessing opportunities to grow your club’s brand identity.
