By winning the League's 5-A-Side tournament which took place on 16 September, Selsdon Baptist completed a notable double by adding this title to the 11-A-Side title they won for the second time in their history in the 2005-06 season.

George Ruston, manager of Park Road Baptist FC, has achieved his target of cycling 100 miles in one day in aid of THIRST FOR LIFE 2007. Despite four marathon rides in aid of Hope UK, George had never before cracked the 100-miles-in-a-day barrier....

Despite his team ending up 3-1 losers to Laos Athletic in the final of the Mike Laxton Cup, Penge Family Church's Mark Slaughter was named Man-Of-The- Match for his consistent efforts over the 90 minutes.

Laos Athletic turned round a 0-1 half time deficit to defeat Penge Family Church 3-1 in the final of this season's Mike Laxton Cup and hence become the first Division 3 side to lift the trophy.

Man of the Match in the 2006 Mike King Trophy Final was awarded to Eltham Green's Phil Sterne, particularly for his two goals and assist which did much to set up Eltham's 4-0 lead.

In the 2006 final of the Mike King Trophy, Eltham Green FC defeated the holders, and new League champions, Selsdon Baptists by 5-4 to lift the trophy. 4-0 up at one point, Eltham withstood a late comeback by Selsdon in the last quarter of the match.

Featuring the majority of the team that won the competition in 2004, Christ Church Bromley retained their title as 5-A-Side Champions in the pre-season tournament held at Powerleague Croydon on 10 September.
