This week in the EC Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District Football League it was the Quarter-Finals of the Divisional Cups in the Johnsons Transport Ltd Hospital Ashby Park Rangers lost 4 – 0 to College Wanderers whose scorer was Corey Beedle with all four goals after 35, 40, 85 & 90 minutes; Brooklyn Hill scored for Briggensians as they lost 3 – 1 to Scotter United thanks to a Thomas Dunderdale brace and one goal from George Cook; Limestone Rangers beat Messingham United 7 – 1, Dominic Walto opened the scoring after 17 minutes Billy Housam made it 2 – 0 after 18 minutes, there was no further goals in the first half Joe Taylor scored for Messingham after 49 minutes to make it 2 – 1, Limestone then took complete control of the game with goals from Philip Spindley after 53 minutes Kieran Graham after 60 & 87 minutes and Nathan Plumtree after 74 & 82 minutes to win 7 – 1; The Butchers Arms were beaten 2 – 0 by Beckwood Rovers for whom Kyle Leatham and Lewis wright scored; in the Tortank Ltd Barton Brotherhood Cup AFC Crosby lost 3 – 0 to New Holland Villa with Joshua Softley scoring after 28 minutes, Callum Newton after 75 minutes and George Wells on 81 minutes; goals from Callum Telfer after 12 minutes and Bailey Good after 60 minutes gave Barnetby United a 2 – 1 win against Manor Park CF whose scorer was Aiden Legge; a Rodrigo Faustino brace and goals from Arran Price, Jamie Dobbs and Eriksson Miranda gave Santon a- 2 win against Brigg Town Colts for whom Harry Morris scored after 55 minutes and Jacob-Jo wood after 69 minutes; in Division Two Scotter United Reserves beat Chancel 3 – 0, after a goal less first half Scotter took the lead on 50 minutes when Samuel Dawson scored, they were awarded a penalty on 58 minutes which Nathan Stocks despatched to make it 2 – 0 on 60 minutes Aaron Brookes headed in the third to make it 3 – 0.
