England Disability Talent Day
Each year Cheshire FA host the England Disability Talent Day providing the opportunity for players with an impairment to progress up the talent pathway for disability football.

Halton Villa Under 14's are the winners of the inaugural G. Hesketh Cup Final, beating Halton Grange 2-1 in the final held at The Pavilions, Weston Point, Runcorn.
Halton Grange started the game strongly but failed to create any clear chances as the Halton Villa defence held firm.
After the initial spell of Halton Grange pressure, Halton Villa started to look the team more likely team to take the lead. After a few near misses Villa took the lead, a through ball sent Adam Horton free down the middle to give Halton Villa the lead.
Halton Grange goalkeeper Danny Crowley made a number of fine save to keep the score at 1-0, while at the other end Villa goalie John Robinson had to be equally athletic, making a fine save to deny a Grange equaliser.
Midway through the second half Halton Grange pulled the scores level and it seemed that extra time would be needed. With two minutes of normal time remaining Halton Villa defender Michael Wilson picked the ball up on the halfway line, took the ball past two players before threading a pass to striker Robbie Shearer who slotted the ball past the advancing keeper to make the score 2-1.
