Hampshire Junior A Cup Third Round
Overton United A made their exit from the Hampshire Junior A Cup after losing 4-0 away to Bournemouth Electric Reserves. United’s third string are not having much of a season so far but faced a well-organized side despite them having a player sent off for head butting Blaze Stafford after a deflected shot had given them . It was in the 30th minute when they went down to ten men and chances fell for Stafford and Luke Skinner, but it was the home side who extended their lead. It was another own goal, this time a header by Paul Eldridge that made it 3-0 and to end a bad day for Overton, the fourth goal looked like hand ball.
Hook are also out after losing on penalties 5-4 against Aldershot opponents Traco Athletic after it ended 1-1 after 90 minutes. The Hook goal was netted by Dan Alliston, but plenty of chances fell their way, with the woodwork hit as well, as Traco went down to ten men for the final ten minutes. No extra time, so straight into penalties where Hook fell short.

Twentyten regained their advantage early in the second half when a slip by Paul Roffey led Ed Hall through and he beat the keeper in a one on one. Overton went on attack but sound defending by Warren Hill and Austin Cleary in particular and two good saves by keeper Andy Burridge, kept them in front. They then they went 3-1 up through Stephen Dean with a shot in off the bar, the pass coming from Luke Higgins. The second for Overton, scored again by Bullock from a Liam Randall cross, came too late for any further come back.

Peter Raynbird Cup Quarter Finals.
AFC Berg won the Peter Raynbird Cup last season by beating Twentyten in the final and once again both of these teams are through to the Semi Finals.
AFC Berg goes through after beating Silchester Village 3-2. It was a very tight first half when the Villagers had good chances through Peter White and Kye Theodore , but it was Berg who took the lead on 44 minutes when Kieran Alleyne headed home Lee Neal free kick. They doubled their lead in the 60th when a low hard shot from Ashley Elward that proved too good for the keeper Silchester hit back within two minutes through Theodore, but within five minutes Berg struck again with another from Elward. Silchester kept striving, but the closest they came was a shot by Stephen Burgess that hit the back of the net, but was goal disallowed
Renegades joined the league this season and after five matches are top of the table, but they found things different when they came up against Division One Twentyten, yet to be beaten in all competitions and went down 8-0. Dan Hancock, who moved up from their reserve team this season, helped himself to his second hat trick in a row, with Charlie Manning scoring a brace. It took Hancock just one minute to take a pass from Joe Osborne and put them one up, but his side were contained until the 35th when a long throw from
Osborne was headed in by Joe Hill. By half time it was 4-0, goals from Hancock and Manning. Hancock scored his third with a sweet volley early in the second half, but Darren Gary, the Twentyten keeper did have some decent saves to make before Manning scored his second and further goals came via Carl Pearson and Osborne.
