Haver Town complete the double
Kenson F.C. 0 Haver Town F.C. B 1
Haver Town secured the all important goal with 15 minutes to go to lift the Division Five League Cup and so complete a League and Cup double
In an uninspiring first half neither side looked threatening enough in front of goal. Kenson created the first chance of note as early as the third minute when Adam Green chipped over the bar when well placed.
Havers best chance of the half came courtesy of a free kick when Ryan Jeffs floated a ball into the Kenson penalty area where Adam Clarke had to react swiftly to snuff out the danger.
It was Green again who almost broke the deadlock when a shot from 25 yards went narrowly wide of the right hand side upright

Haver came out much the stronger of the two side in the second 45 minutes.
Haver playmaker George Driscoll was finding more space in midfield and this allowed the Brentwood side to exert greater pressure on the Kenson goal.
From a corner David Doig saw a header crash against the Kenson crossbar. Adam Clarke in the Kenson goal was then called on to save smartly after Ryan Jeffs broke clear.
Despite their possession Haver could not break the deadlock and were almost caught napping when a mistake at the back allowed Matt Russell to nip in but shot wide.
On 75 minutes another mistake in the Haver Town defence allowed Steve Shelley a free run on goal as he was in the art of shooting he was clipped from behind by Doig. Having consulted with his linesmen the Referee deemed the offence to be outside of the box.
The free kick that followed cannoned into the Haver defensive wall leading to a counter attack which was thwarted by an infringement in the Kenson half. The resultant free kick was floated into the box but appeared to be going harmlessly toward the Kenson keeper who failed to collect allowing the ball to drop in front of goal where Ashley Coppen headed home.
The last 15 minutes was a frantic affair a scramble in the Haver penalty area caused havoc as the ball pinged around but finally went to safety.
The Brentwood team hung on to clinch the trophy
