League Action...

Broadhall signed off their league programme in style and gave themselves a great chance of a second successive runners-up sopt in the Premier Division. They had just 11 players present and took the lead through Kologo Richards before FC Nirankari equalised. Jason Milburn then scored a 25 yarder into the bottom corner to restore the lead, before they were pegged back again. Grant Sullivan fired into the top corner and John Johnston slid in at the back post to make it 4-2.

Stevenage Leisure Limited were hopeful of getting their first points on the board and led 2-1 after an hour through two Kieran Ellis strikes. However, Arena-Group turned in a resounding 7-2 victory thanks to Marc Holmes (two), Ian Woodfield (two), Sam Jones, Dave Locke and Ryan Skeggs.

In a game which would have a big influence on the battle for second place in Division One, it was Terry Lock who pounced on a loose ball in the area to open the scoring for TC United. The lead was doubled just before the break when Dan Carroll met Lock's cross at the far post and smashed home a half volley. FC Mallard rallied after the break and got back in the game with a neat chip over Chris Benton by Rob Barton. A competitive game was then levelled fifteen minutes from time, when a counter attack was broken down and Tom Broadbent scored. The match was settled two minutes from time when captain Richard Minnis powered home a header from Lock's free-kick to secure the points for TC.

Still without a draw all season, Bedwell Rangers won their penultimate game 3-2 against Coopers United. Jamie Morriss, Ross Murphy and Daryl Thorpe netting. Steve Harris and Gary Hillard replied.

A hat-trick from Russell Ayles helped MKS Carpentry to dominate and play their best football of the season in completing a comfortable victory. Two from Neil Roskilly and a collector’s item from Ray Downes completed the 6-0 rout of Odyssey.

In pursuit of Division Three leaders Broadhall Icon, Old Barclavians beat a rejuvenated View Point Wanderers 3-0. Dean Page, Callum Rowe and Dave Warwick netting.

Granby are looking a good bet to finish third after a 4-1 win over The Old Post Office. Dan Carter (two), Joe Chilton and Steve Clibbon scored, Theo Griffith replied.

Top-half sides Roebuck Gate and ABC Taxis played out a 1-1 draw. Goals came from Dean Auburn and a Chas Bailey penalty respectively.

Sam Stephenson hit four as Proverbial United routed Stevenage Old Town 6-0. John Bitting and Kieran Webb were also on target.

In the Frank Neville Memorial Cup. Sam Harwood hit home from long-range to pull back the deficit MBDA were chasing. However, Hartham Press were level on the day through Jamie Burbury. Kyle Watson also thrashed home from distance, but Burbury was on target again. A late Louis Hare strike gave MBDA the win on the day, but Hartham claimed victory 4-3 overall.
