Arrow 2000 are the new holders of the Katherine Rayer Cup.

In last night's final at St Georges Lane they beat Martley Spurs 2-1 to capture the trophy for the first time in their history. Defences were on top in a goal-less first half with both keepers making important saves.

After the interval Martley were reduced to ten men when Luke Whittington was sent off for a two footed lunge on an opponent. Shortly after Arrow took the lead when Danny James's cross was headed back across goal by Gary Price for Luke Seldon to nod in from close range. A stirring fightback from Martley saw Adam Harris equalise with a rasping drive from the edge of the penalty area. However their joy was short lived when at the other end Price turned the Martley defence to slot the ball home from twelve yards for what turned out to be the winning goal. In a pulsating finish to the match, Martley threw everything at Arrow and Harris saw his goal bound effort brilliantly turned over the bar by Dan Joyner.
