The First Month of the Season is in the books!
The first month of the season concluded with Kings United leading the way in the Premier Division maintaining their 100% record in beating TWS Cramptons 3-1, Zack Thomas scoring twice with Mitchell Laing getting the other goal, Ben Munday replying for Cramptons. Counting House leapfrogged Cramptons into second place in the table as goals from Ross Aylett, Weston Beckwith, Liam Roddam and Matt Weatherley saw them defeat Lanthorne 4-0. 19th Hole secured their second win of the league campaign by beating Windmill 3-1 thanks to a Jack Brown hat trick, Sonny Newman scoring for Windmill.
Hussar made it four wins from four matches with a 7-3 win against Easy Scaff, Woody Pitman and Kieran Davis both scoring twice with Reece Greig, Danny McGovern & Kieran Palmer all getting one goal each. Lesters Athletic have also made it four from four after goals from Jamie Coot and Lewis Ford earned them a 2-0 win over Westgate Social Club. Red Arrows got back to winning ways with a narrow 3-2 win over Northwood, Luke Calder, Harry Leer & Steven Godden scoring for Arrows with Michael Moore and Harry Paxman replying for Northwood. Monkton recorded their first league of the season in some style as they ran out 8-1 winners against Westwood, Matt Hardy claiming a hat trick with Matt Frewin getting a brace, Alex Day, Rob Di Spirito & Liam Foster were the other scorers for Monkton, Will Bath getting the consolation for Westwood. A Conor Parish hat trick and two from Thomas Barton helped Macies to a 5-1 win over FC Inter Westgate, Macies were forced to field injured Luke Ronchetti suffering from a torn ACL in goal, but he was beaten just the once by Daniel Harris.
Two goals each from Jimmy Duncan & Gareth Rushton plus one from Sonny Drummond gave Shrimpos a 5-2 win against Prince Albert which moves them top of the table on goal difference from Garden Bar. Dan Smith and William Wilson were the scorers for Prince Albert. Garden Bar sit second after a 3-2 win over Holman Carpentry, Tim Alliston, Freddie Saunders and Phil Doughty netting for Garden Bar with Kieran Boulton and Bailey Friend scoring for Holman. Thanet Athletic secured their first three points of the season as they beat Aussie Arms 5-3. Kyle Smith scoring twice for Thanet whilst Morgan Reeves struck twice for Aussie. Sandwich Town and Franklins shared the points as they drew 2-2, Haydon Croxton & Joe Emm scoring for Sandwich with Frantisek Balog & Jack Phillips getting the goals for Franklins.
