Last season’s winner of the League’s Fantasy Premier League, Sam Bastable, was deprived of successive titles by his former club supremo, Paul Waddell, whose team Waddell’s Wanderers accumulated 2571 points, comfortably Paul’s highest ever total.
With 2555, Sam’s team, ABCDEFC scored higher than last season’s winning total of 2525 and was followed by JAH-MEK-YAH (Michael Crawford) on 2547, All Over The Szob (Ben McAlinden) with 2543 and Just Stop Doyle (James Endersby) on 2516, these being the only teams to finish with more than 2500 points.
Despite a good finish to the season, the League Secretary finished wandering around on just 2330 points in 19th place, just above the MightyBouche of Aymeric de Vimal du Bouchet who, despite their lowly League placing, reached the final of the Cup competition, losing 54-88 to Sam Bastable’s ABCDEFC, providing him with some consolation and meaning that both competitions were won by former Emmanuel Lightning players.
Putting aside the disappointment of losing in the National Christian Cup Final the previous Monday, St Marys West Croydon retained their hold on the Mike King Trophy with a 1-0 win over close rivals Newgen in a match played at Beckenham Town FC.

It took a long time coming, but Newgen finally got their hands on the Premier Division Winners trophy by beating Chatsworth United by 4-1 on the final week of the 2023/24 League season.

In a repeat of last season's final, Hayes Ambassadors once again defeated Woodside Baptist to win the Mike Laxton Cup, this time by 6-1 in a game played at Beckenham Town FC.
