DON?T FORGET THAT IF YOU ARE PLAYING IN THE NEXT LEAGUE YOU MUST PAY £26 WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR THE CUP GAMES.
Please make sure that if you owe any arrears these are also paid on Monday - they cannot be carried forward.
REARRANGED GAME
Last weeks game between The Pods and Polar Ford in Division C had to be abandoned in the first half due to an unfortunate serious injury to a player. We hope this player makes a speedy and full recovery.
As the Division C title can be affected by the result of this game, the match has been rescheduled to take place prior to the Cup competition and will kick off at 6.45pm on Monday 9th July.
CUP COMPETITION
You will find enclosed the fixtures for the Cup competition & a copy of the Cup draw, rules, and a score sheet so you can see how things are going.
Please make sure that you arrive in plenty of time to play your first game -timing is crucial. Any team who is not ready to start at the times shown will lose the game 2-0 as per the rules.
PRESENTATION
The presentation for both the League and the Cup competitions will take place in the centre after the cup games have finished.
In Division A many congratulations to league champions Real Ale Madras who took the title by six clear points after beating Poirot FC 5-2 while runners up Norse Gods ran out 4-1 winners in their final game against Sore Losers. Athletico Pathetico had a walkover win when Top Gunners failed to show and FC Winebar lost out 3-1 against Trojan Warriors.
In Division B congratulations to clear champions G-Unit who finished ten points clear at the top after a 4-2 victory against Rodney Celtic while Laserline failed to turn up which meant three points for their opponents WSC who finished runners up. The Gerard Arms finished the season with a comfortable 6-0 win over FC Lyon and Lager FC put in a solid performance with a 5-3 victory against Heart 20.
In Division C The Albion had a tremendous 11-2 win over Tottenham Switchspur while Kebab & Calculator had a close 2-1 victory against JDFC and The Eggheads picked up three points with a confident 6-0 win against Disposable Heroes.
