In the Premier Division there was just the one match
and it turned out to a be a close, high scoring affair with Sherborne St John emerging 6-4 winners against Bramley United. Sam Cato lobbed keeper Dave Poynton for the United opener in the 10th minute, but Sherborne hit back to lead 3-1, with goals from Sachin Rai, IbrahimWaheed and a Declan Shuttleworth penalty by the 23rd minute. Stuart Leddy replied for Bramley, but Alex Izzo converted a penalty to see Sherborne go in t the interval 4-2 ahead. Two quick goals in the second half saw Shuttleworth complete his hat trick to extend the lead to 6-2, but United attacked strongly and Cato went on the score twice for his hat trick, taking his tally for the season to seventeen..
In Division One Overton United A open up a five point gap at the top after beating DJS Telecoms, their rivals for the title, 5-2 at Silchester. DJS had the better start and went two goals up when first John Clarke headed home a long throw from Lee Neal in the 4th minute and in the 16th Kevin Banning played through for Neal to net the second. Overton hit back to level by half time, goals from Ben Evans and Siyanni Thomas. It was close until the 70th when Thomas broke away following Scott Pemberton pass, but DJS were always in the game and Allan Morgan looked to have equalized only to see it ruled out for offside. Thomas then completed his hat trick and John Gurney netted the fifth.
An added time winner from Kieran Dent after he had leveled in the 89th minute, saw Hampshire Irons come away with an unlikely 3-2 win against Twentyten. In the very wet conditions the Irons keeper Jack Rickard mishandled the ball and so handing Joe Osborne a simple first goal after five minutes and Twentyten went two goals ahead when a long throw from Osborne led to Jake Tanner scoring and so taking this lead two goal lead into the second half. The bad conditions did not suit Twentyten and in the 65th minute Chris Dobbie headed a cross from Gavin Curry into the net and pressing to level, a Curry long throw led to Kieran Dent beating keeper Jack Nicholson. It was in added time following a short free kick that Curry found Dent again and his lob saw them sneak the three points.
In Division Two The Basingstoke Labour Club came up with another win, this week beating Overton United B 4-1 at Berrydown. It was former Overton players Matt Waite who did the damage by scoring all four of the goals. Cameron George played him through for the first after five minutes and after playing a one two with Rylan Willows it became 0-2. George was fouled in the box and Waite took the kick to complete is hat trick by the 25th minute. Overton replied through Tita Martins but George then hit the bar three times before he laid on the fourth for Waite in the 80th minute.
