League Meeting
Monday 9th May 2016

1. Meeting started at 7.55pm.

3. E-mails read out by John.
4. Treasurer: John needs more teams coming forward with monies, before the end of the financial season. Fines have been sent out.
5. Registrations: Tony explained there is nothing can be done for this season, 70% of teams have got it wrong. WE are going back to the old system. On the 29th may all players registrations will cease to exist.
6. Referees: Abuse given to referees is still increasing; fees still stand if game is cancelled by a team on the day.
7. Memorial Cup: will be run over two consecutive weekends, the 2nd and 3rd week of August. 1st stage the leagues and 2nd stage the knockouts. We aim to give each team 2 midweek games as from next season, to stop potential backlogs of games again.
8. Congratulations to all teams who have won leagues, become runners up and who have reached each of the finals.
9. Press and Publicity: Nothing to add.
10. Discipline: Police are involved in 2 alleged incidents.
11. League Secretary: Check rule changes. Changes have already been submitted.
12. May Draw: No. 31 St. Johns Whites.
