Ashville Football Club First Team Manager/Coach

Due to Ashville FC’s First Team manager John Graham retiring from his role at the end of the 2017/18 season after a successful tenure, the position of First Team Manager is being advertised as available from the start of the 2018/2019 season.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right applicant to continue Ashville FC’s recent success, including becoming the first club in West Cheshire history to win the Cheshire Cup 2 years running from the 2nd division, before being promoted to the First Division.
The successful applicant will be responsible to the club Chairman, and Committee, and will be fully responsible for all First Team footballing activities, including arranging training, player signings, transfers etc. He/She will work closely with the Reserve Team manager, and Youth Team staff to ensure the best possible progression and relationship between Youth and Senior Football.
The successful applicant will be expected to assemble a squad capable of challenging for the First Division title, and progressing in all available competitions, bringing in new players where necessary and utilising existing players available.
He/She will work within the clubs constitution which is available from the club, which outlines the club rules regarding all committee matters and decision making.
Requirements: The successful applicant should have:-
a) Suitable contacts within the football community
b) Good man management and communication skills
c) Ability to inspire and motivate within their group of players
d) A suitable track record and experience within a football management team
The club will provide a place on the FA Coaching Level 1 course if not already held
