Report on MES Ltd First Division & Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division Results
MES Ltd First Division
Retaining top place in the MES Ltd First Division are Trident following their hard-earned success over North West Harriers as three second half goals gave them a 3-1 result to keep them one point ahead in the title chase. Leo Kelly scored for Harriers but a goal apiece from Kyle Bennett, Tom Rowlands and Jacob Sampson saw Trident taking the spoils.
A goal each from Tom Mole and Callum Morrison was enough for Vineyard to seal a 2-0 victory over Shore Villa as they stay second with a game in hand.
Forcing their way up to third place are Wallasey Wanderers as they leapfrogged PLCCFC with a 3-1 win thanks to efforts from Declan Netherton, Connor Jackson and Ollie Lowe, as Charlie Clewlow bagged the consolation.
Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division
Closing the gap at the top of the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division are AFC Shore Villa who overpowered Cheshire Vikings in a double figure success that saw Nathan Saunders bag seven goals and Dillon Wilkinson fired a four-goal salvo, with Josh Roberts adding a single in this 12-1 victory.
Staying level on points in second place are AFC Bromborough after defeating a hard-working FC Greasby by two goals to one thanks to a single from Ryan Pinchard in the first half and then a winning goal from Kieran Hughes in the second half after Dylan Sharpe had levelled matters in an end-to-end tussle.
New Brighton Town stay in the top four after edging out Liscard Brazil in a 3-2 victory despite Jake Williams and Morgan George netting for Liscard. On target for Town were James Carlin-2 and Ewan Sait.
