One point clear at the top of the MES Ltd First Division is Trident after they bowled over PLCCFC with a 7-1 success thanks to goals from Michal Mocha-2, Joe Thompson, Sam Bonner, Kyle Bennett, Tom Rowlands and Matty Kelly, with the lone reply coming from Dan Hardman.
Vineyard slip into second place after sharing the points with Oldershaw FC in a 2-2 draw with their target men being Declan Pearce and Alex Sandham, but are still undefeated.
Two goals apiece from Dale Crawford and Stewart Speed and a single from John Pomphrett enable Finnigan FC to move into third place due to their 5-0 defeat of Lottie Dod.
Wallasey Wanderers remain mid-table following their 3-1 success over North West Harriers thanks to Macauley Lathom, Connor Jackson and Dave Woods finding the net, with Conor Reeves grabbing the consolation.
Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division
Edging five points clear at the top of the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division are unbeaten Barnston FC as they went nap against Park Royal in a 5-0 victory as Ben Ryan and George Wilson fired a double each and Jack Nelson claimed a single in a good team effort.
AFC Bromborough retain second place following their 4-1 success against Liscard Brazil as goal machine Kieran Hughes netted two more goals, with Harry Taylor and Harry Bellis scored a goal each.
Staying in the title chase are AFC Shore Villa as they too ran out 4-1 winners against New Brighton Town with goals from Nathan Saunders, Shea Turpin, Jamie Smith and Jack Taylor with Greg Williams firing the lone response.
