Asfordby Amateurs and Ashby Ivanhoe confirmed top 2 status with victories, just leaving which order they finish in to be decided.
Lee Connolly sprinted ahead in the golden boot when he netted 5 for Asfordby in the 9-0 defeat of the Leicestershire Constabulary, Scot James added an hat trick as the Amateurs made strides towards the goal scored ton up and favourites for the title.
Ashby stayed in the frame with a 2-0 defeat of Huncote Sports and Social. An hat trick from James Scot eased Lutterworth Athletic to a 0-4 away win at FC Khalsa but the best they can now achieve is 3rd which is under pressure from Sileby Town who stayed on course for the top 3 with a 1-3 away win at Hathern. Chris Baker netted a goal in each half to keep the Town unbeaten in their last 10 league starts which has created a 10 point gap to their nearest challengers, Lutterworth Town, who went down 2-1 at bottom placed Cottesmore Amateurs, who did a lap of honour after their 1st win in 22 league starts.
Earl Shilton Albion and Dunton and Broughton Rangers fought out a 1-1 draw whilst Senior Cup finalists, Anstey Town, made it 3 without defeat with a 2-1 defeat of FC Braunstone Victoria.
