The championship pendulum swings back in Anstey Town's favour.
The championship pendulum definitely swung back in Anstey Town favour after leaders Sileby Town were beaten at Lutterworth Athletic. Sileby lead 1-2 during the 2nd half but surrendered their unbeaten away record as the Athletic took the fixture 3-2.
The Town were held to a goal less draw at Narborough and Littlethorpe and now remain 4 points off the pace with 3 games in hand, the potential decider between the two scheduled for the last day of the season at Sileby.
On paper Saffron Dynamo look the most likely for 3rd spot after a Michael Knight double set them up for a 5-0 defeat of Earl Shilton Albion whilst FC Braunstone Victoria maintained the pressure with their 3rd win on the spin, 0-4 at Cottesmore Amateurs.
Hathern posted their 1st win in 4 starts with a 2-1 defeat of bottom placed Ravenstone and Asfordby Amateurs finally re-entered the top 6 with a 1-3 away win at Ashby Ivanhoe.
Huncote Sports and Social removed any nagging doubts about being in the bottom 2 with a 0-4 away at Constabulary after George Himan led the line with a double.
