A Nick Matthews hat trick, which included 2 penalties, propelled Senior Cup Finalists Blaby and Whetstone Athletic to their 2nd final of the season with a 1-5 away win at St Andrews. They will meet Hinckley Downes, who were taken to extra time and penalties after being held to a 1-1 draw by Earl Shilton Albion from Div1.
League
The championship race is over, a 1st half double from Luke Padmore, promoted from the reserves, gave Asfordby Amateurs a 0-2 away win at Hathern and the title from Ashby Ivanhoe who were sidelined for the day.
Sileby Town slipped into 3rd spot, above Lutterworth Athletic, who were beaten 1-0 at Dunton and Broughton Rangers, after a 2-1 victory over bottom placed Cottesmore Amateurs and a brace from Sam Bradshaw enabled Lutterworth Town to post a 4-0 defeat of FC Braunstone.
Earl Shilton Albion retained their top 6 status despite a 3-2 defeat at Ravenstone whilst a 2-1 defeat at FC Khalsa saw Leicestershire Constabulary slip back into the bottom 2 after 4 defeats on the spin.
Senior cup finalists Anstey Town extended their unbeaten run to 4 with a 1-1 draw at Narborough and Littlethorpe.
