The shirts are exactly the same as those curently worn by both UCF teams, but they are a set UCF donated in 2003 for a church in São Tomé & Principe. Click here for more details.
In response to a request from former Lewin Sports and New Life player Gary Weithers, who had visited the church whilst on holiday in São Tomé, a former Portuguese colony situated off the coast of West Africa, almost bang on the Equator, the League contributed part of the charity funds its cup competitions raised in the 2002-03 season to purchase shorts, socks and a goalkeepers shirt . Together with the shirts, these were shipped out to São Tomé, via Portugal, in the summer of 2004, thus enabling the team to join a league which they coudn't do without the appropriate equipment.
