To All u10 Sun Managers

The current Cup competitions seems to be moving ok and a reminder the TOP 2 in each Group will be invited to a FINALS morning to play a Semi Final (24 mins) and a Final or extra game (24 mins)

The FINALS DAY will now be Sunday 2 November which is not negotiable, should a team be unavailable then the place would be offered to the next team in the Group.

The Finals Day will be played at the YEL soccer Centre in Clifton and memento given to finalists (cost of the day £15 per team to cover venue/refs)

I will set friendly fixtures today for the 12 October

The 19 and 26 October (Nottm city half term) will be kept BLANK but teams welcome to arrange own friendly matches if they wish to do so.

2 November fixtures - 12 teams at Finals Day, i will arrange matches for non Finals teams on Mon 6 October

WINTER COMPETITION
All teams will play in a Winter League of either 9 or 10 teams and this will be the one event per season played at the YEL Soccer Centre - a league of 2 games (20 mins) per week with the chance of a large League format with Winners and Runners Up invited to Winter Presentation at Royal Concert Hall.
Cost is £15 per week per team which covers venue and referee costs, the venue is a NOT for profit and should an profit be made this will be put back into cheaper events.

League A - Top 9 - this group will be selected on Sunday afternoon based on results so far and they will play 4 weeks from 9th to 30th November

League B and C will play 4 weeks from 11 January in a League at Soccer centre, we will announce provisional leagues on Sunday but reserve the right to change should a teams results drastically change in November

FRIENDLY MATCHES
These will be announced this Sunday on all other dates up to Feb half term with exception of 21 and 28 Dec and 4 Jan

LEAGUE CANCELLATIONS
Each team has the right to one match day league cancellation as per rules should they need it during the season and match rescheduled provided it not on the day of the game (email to YEL), a fine is issued and the match rescheduled taking priority over friendly matches.

A Cup Finals event date cannot be changed (such as 2 Nov) as this would affect other teams competing.

MARCH SPRING LEAGUE
A 3rd and Final competition will be arranged for u10 Sunday teams (based on Winter league results) in Leagues of ideally 6 teams playing home and away basis with winners/runners up invited to June Presentation at Concert Hall - these fixtures will be announced towards the end of the Winter Leagues (late Jan/early Feb)

Hope that explains what is happening, appreciate its not straight forward but thats the FA rules of teams allowed 3 competitions of 4 weeks !!!

Spare a thought for YEL we are trying to give everyone variety of competition, a larger league using 4 weeks at Soccer Centre and trying to keep matches competitive hence the delayed announcement of fixtures

But appreciate teams need to know so will announce as soon as we can

Reminder teams should be completing online match reports for all competitive matches
