In the Premier division Fad Continentals took on Pac Builders at their new Harton Welfare home, in what turned out to be a real thriller of a game. Fad fell behind early on after a great Pac move was finished by Adam Thompson. Fad were soon back in it and equalized when John Savage got on the end of a Lee Craig free kick. As the half wore on Fad fell behind once again as Kyle Riley restored Pac Builders lead. The end to end game continued as Wes Burden finished from a neat through ball from Nathan Codling to put Fad back on terms for a second time. Fad were now on top and went ahead for the first time in the game through a great goal from Nathan Codling who turned his defender and volleyed home from 6 yards. Within seconds however Pac were back in it, as Adam Thompson got his second of the game to make it all square at the break. Fad started the second half the better and some brilliant play from Lee Ebanks saw him score twice to give Fad a 5-3 lead. Sadly that was all the Fad could offer and tired legs and sloppy play started to set in as Pac Builders upped there game and managed to bring the game back in there favour and came back with three goals as Adam Thompson completed his hat trick and two from David Bonholme made it 6-5 in their favour. Wes Burden picked up man of the match award for the Fad.

The Voyager should be one of the teams In the title shake up come the end of the season and they came out on top In a close fought game with Elmfield SC. Two goals from Lee Paul Scroggins and a third from David Scroggins saw them home 3-2, Steve Gorman and Steve Cockburn replied for Elmfield.

The Alex Woodcock cup game between Riverside Rangers and Caledonian Athletic was a feisty affair. Riverside took a deserved early lead after a rare mistake from established Cally ?keeper Dave Easton, who could only parry a 20 yard drive into the path of the oncoming striker Sean Flood who scored with ease. The Cally responded quickly when Chris Scott leveled matters after a through ball by Captain Stu Mclean. Scott and veteran Mick Averill then combined to set up Tony Tatum to finish a fine counter attack to give The Cally the upper hand at half time. The second half was as competitive as the first, with both teams having chances until 15 minutes from time the result was all but settled when Cally sub David Jeynes finished from the edge of the box to make it 3-1 to the visitors. There was still time for young super sub Liam Moody to make it 4-1 after muscling through the defence, taking his tally to 4 goals in 4 sub appearances, and could count himself unlucky not to have increased that tally with a further goal ruled out for off side soon after.

The player of the day award, if there was one, would surely go to Karl McMann of JML Rafters who scored five goals in his sides 6-0 cup victory over Red Hackle. David ball completed the scoring for Rafters.
