Bedwell Athletic failed to raise a side, handing MH Goldsmith the three points they needed to go back to the top of the Premier Division table after two successive defeats.

Bottles came from behind to secure a convincing win. In a tight first-half, Probuild took the lead when Barry Greenaway smashed home from six yards. A lovely Kieran Ellis strike levelled the scores going into half-time. Bottles came out then the second half and took the lead when stand-in centre-half Dan Gregory gifted Rob Verdia a goal before good work from Piers Le-grand saw his efforts rewarded with two late strikes to seal the victory.

In Division Two, Stevenage Leisure Ltd’s rebuilding process saw them involved in a good game. They opened the scoring through Stew Smith's speculative long range effort before A1 Trophies equalised on the stroke of half-time with a heavily deflected goal and went in front after it. Ian Morton scored his first goal for SLL to level, but the evenly-balanced game turned when two of their players were injured, leaving them with nine. A1 took full advantage and went on to win comfortably despite Daniel Brawn’s effort. Paul Tully (two), James Harrod (two), Martin Metcalf and Greg Bradbury were on target in victory.

Mallard Old Boys took over at the summit of Division Three, but did it the hard way. Chequers took the lead with a well finished lob by Jason Smith over debutant Leeroy Litchmore, who'd been given a dead leg shortly before. They equalised almost instantly as Dave Byatt capitalised on some poor defending by lobbing the ‘keeper with the outside of his boot from the edge of the area. A long free-kick to the far post was side-footed home unchallenged by Steve Burton before a long throw was flicked-on by Anthony Koop and eluded a struggling Litchmore for a two-goal lead. The Old Boys were much improved after the break, but didn’t start the fightback until the 70th minute, when Si Parnell finished after Jamie Campany had headed against the bar. They were level when Glen Storey's corner was firmly headed in by Daz Wilson, but not before replacement ‘keeper Marc Dunn had saved brilliantly to keep them in it with the forward one-on-one with him. They snatched all three points when Campany netted with a lovely lob from twenty-five yards.

Broadhall Res lost top berth due to a late goal. Mark Chalkley gave them the lead by scrambling an effort over the line. Ten minutes from time, Ben Dye was in the right place to meet a cross from the right to equalise from six yards out for Breachwood Lions.

With the game heading for a goalless draw, Ricky Kyle popped up to net a ninetieth winner for Athletico Peartree. He doesn’t get many, so his team-mates were pleasantly surprised when it hit the net, leaving Stevenage Colts Old Boys Res deflated.

Lewis Sealy (two) and Lewis Essam netted in Emperors Head’s win over SCS.

Darren Curry (hat-trick) and Daniel Burley (two) were on the mark as North Herts Celtic beat Roebuck Gate (Daniel Amegatcher, Ian Levy and an own goal).

Broadhall 'A' edged it against unbeaten closest-rivals AFC Chells to main top spot in Division Four. They dominated early on and took a deserved lead through Michael Emmings' cross shot and doubled it when a cracking team move culminated in Terry Lee's low drive past the ‘keeper. Chells got back into the game with a good Rob Barton goal after half-an-hour. Emmings calmly slotted home a penalty kick to restored the two-goal lead at half time but there was one in it again with just over five minutes to play thanks to Michael Brittain to set up a tense finish.

Another good performance from Coopers saw them stay 100 percent against Crooked Billet Boro. The pick of their magnificent seven came from Dan Auld, a twenty-five yard screamer of a free-kick. The other scorers were Gary Chambers (two), Adam Stevens, Dan Bowey, Graeme Kear and Michael Hemmings.

Darryl Cimini (hat-trick), Nick Thomas (two) and Jamie Fannon-Hall were on the mark as Bedwell Rangers beat Stevenage Old Town (James Smith and Scott Bartaby) to go third.

Jason Tait (two), Anthony Rowe and Dannie Reeves looked to be handing Marquis Rangers the points. Dan Downham and Dave Pateman had replied for Highwayman. However, three more for Pateman and a debut goal for substitute Steve Stapleton completed a remarkable turnaround.

A slow start from Fairlands saw them two behind inside ten minutes. Despite the set-back, they had lots of possession and a couple of chances but the first-half ended with White Lion Walkern leading by five. Despite a further concession, Alex Goodson pulled one back and they were rewarded still further by a long range effort from Scott Norman. However, another two killed them off as Stephen Ward (hat-trick), Mark Stobart (two), Tim Roberts and Matt Woods.
