A preview to this weekends BCL games.

Two huge games this weekend in the Birmingham Communities League sponsored by Moving Forward Sports. Both games will be played at Heartlands Academy.

At 12:30 we focus towards the bottom of the league, Saltley Stallions desperately looking to kick start their season play a Druids Heath team also in need of points. Saltley come into this game on the back of a 7-0 loss having made a few changes Syed Ali and the boys will want to get their season back on track. Druids Heath new to the BCL this season are still feeling their way into their new surroundings and have improved in the recent weeks even if results have not shown this.

Big opportunity for both teams but who will turn up on the day and do the business? Keep up to date with the game on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BIrminghamCommunitiesLeague/

Then all attention turns to the champions Athletic Midlands, after beating Saltley Stallions 7-0, the comeback of some key players and signing of Keighnan Royles from Saltley momentum is building for them once again. A 100% start to the season and with Start Again FC slipping up against Ghanaian All Stars they can start to put day light between themselves and the chasing pack. Their opponents also with 100% start to the season are new to the BCL Roots FC have raised some eyebrows not just with their results but the manner of their performances a solid team with great ability on the ball. What has really suprised many is the strength in depth of the squad but with captain Demba Sowe doubtful will there be anyone to step in and take the bull by the horns for the team.
