FA YOUTH CUP
A bad night for the League as the 2 remaining sides left in the Competition were well and truly beaten. St Andrews were knocked out by Ilkeston Town 5-0, while Gresley were beaten by Oadby Town, 6-2, after extra time with Zaki Evans getting both of the young Moatmens goals.
NORTHERN DIVISION
Allexton & New Parks moved back to the top of the pile as they made it 5 wins on the bounce as they defeated Borrowash Victoria, 6-3. Jack Allen, Billy Clarke, Matthew Dennis, Blake Bilby, Brandon Jarrett and Connor Pawley all finding the net for Allexton. Borrowashs’ replies coming from Sam Spencer, Liam Richardson and Josh Piggott. Saffron Dynamo had a 1-0 away win at Coalville Town with Tristan Atkinson being the Saffs’ hero.
SOUTHERN DIVISION
Trebles from Mitchell Fairhurst and Bruno Capella plus strikes from Ross Cragg (2) and Craig Martin saw Aylestone Park defeat St Andrews V75, 9-2. Cameron Hansford replying with both for the V75s’. Thurmaston Magpies had a 3-2 away win at Leicester Nirvana with James Isard, Dominic Ford and Bradley French finding the back of the net. Jordan Nelson and Farah Askir replying for Nirvana. Lutterworth Athletic and Harborough Town shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Paul Chisholm and Josh Sullivan for the Athos with Matt Brown and Sam Ashton for Harborough.
