MES Ltd First Division
PLCCFC claimed a second victory in the MES Ltd First Division when beating Oldershaw FC 3-2 thanks to efforts from Charlie Clewlow, Lee Davey and Corey Mountford, with responses coming from Aaron Dawson and Scott McMahon in an even encounter.
For the second week running Finnigan FC fought back from 3-1 down to gain a creditable point in a 3-3 draw against Trident as an own goal, an effort from Matty Kelly and another from Michal Mocah put Trident ahead before a treble strike from Dale Crawford levelled matters in a good open affair.
The points were also shared between Vineyard and Wallasey Wanderers in a 1-1 draw as James Breheny netted for Vineyard and Macauley Lathom fired the reply.
Opening their account were Shore Villa as they overcame Lottie Dod 6-1 as Sam Range netted twice, with Kevin Walker, Lewis Dixon, Adam Larway and Brett Fitzsimons all bagging singles.
Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division
In the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division AFC Shore Villa top scored when overwhelming Cheshire Vikings in an 8-1 victory as Robbie Davies claimed a hat-trick, Shea Turpin added a double and Callum Jones, Jack Robinson Andrew Supple supplied singles in a great team performance. Tom Davies got the only reply.
A brace of goals by Alec Lamb and a solo goal from Ollie Parr gave New Brighton Town a 3-1 success over FC Greasby who had Kieran Davies bagging the lone response.
But top of the division are Park Royal following their 5-1 defeat of Bromborough Athletic thanks to a Jamie Woods brace and singles from Grant Reay, Adam Sadler and Ash Mowbray.
