Just over a week to go until the new season starts.

Saturday 20th August 2022 will mark the start of the 102nd football season for the Ashford & District Football League with an enlarged single Premier Division to increase the variety of Competition for all Clubs with the main focus on the League programme

Woodchurch first team , winners of the Premier Division title last season on the final day of League fixtures on goal difference only from runners-up Sellindge will be looking to hold on to the trophy but will face stiff competition from Paul Milloy’s runaway Division One Champions and treble winners Smeeth & Brabourne whilst Len Valley will have ambitions to improve on last season’s third place in the League and success in the Cup Competitions as winners of the Premier division Cup and semi-finalists in the Kent Junior Cup – The first team from the League to do so in living memory.

The League welcomes newcomers Bocca Juniors and a newly formed 3rd team from Tenterden Town, a Club that are no strangers to the league. In addition Players and management from last season’s South Willesborough Rangers will compete under their new name of Fox Saturday and although their first team has moved to the Kent County League, Sellindge’s connection with the league continues with a newly formed reserve team
