Loiseau delivers knockout blow

Bridgehouse, in their first ever final edged past Singer despite being under the cosh for most of the second half and soaking up tremendous pressure. The underdogs, according to league form, were deserving of an equalizer and were dismayed to see two efforts rebound off the woodwork. Great defence and outstanding work from keeper Barry Kelly ensured that the trophy cabinet for Bridgehouse had it's first taste of silver.

Both tems played the game in the right spirit and the league is very proud of them both. Well done Bridgehouse and commiserations to Singer who, on another day, may have got the luck their endeavour merited.
