At the end of the current season, divisonal champions of Divisions II-V should definitely be promoted up a division for the start of next season, and the teams finishing bottom of Divisions I-IV should definitely be relegated down one, pending confirmation by the OUAFC committee.

Further relegation and promotion may take place before the start of next season's competition according to the number of teams who enter, also at the discretion of the OUAFC committee.

Any new teams allowed next season will enter at a level no higher than any team currently involved in the competition which retains its place in the competition.

The ranking of teams within divisions is achieved by the following methods of comparison in order:-

1. Highest number of points
2. Largest goal difference
3. Greatest tally of goals scored
4. Fair play point system in which the number of yellow and red cards are evaluated
5. Drawing of lots
