The u10 friendly divisions for sept and oct are below, all games are friendly matches so every effort should be made to give all children a fair amount of match time
To u10 Managers YEL
The new Friendly Divisions for the u10 Winter season can now be found on the YEL FA Full time website
the Divisions have been split into sections based on u9 spring results and new team info supplied
Saturday section 11 divisions of 7 or 8 teams
One top league followed by 3 regional, 3 in Blue section, 3 in Red section and 1 in yellow section
Sunday section is Top Divisions followed 2 in blue and 3 in Red section
every match during Sept and October is a Friendly fixture but we will be using the scores to a small degree to compile the Competitive Divisions which start 5 November
the competitive Divisions will be max 6 teams playing for trophies from 5 Nov to early December and these will be announced around 4 October
For the competitive Divisions in November we will be using Spring final tables plus Sept friendly results....we would only move a team if results are heavy either way or we have to find space for another team clearly placed in the wrong section
during September we will be monitoring scores each week and we will change fixtures late sept (home teams unchanged) to test a few teams against "higher level" and also match up teams who have lost the first few games
the Blue, Red and Yellow sections have been set up in rough geographical areas to reduce travel
If a team are in the wrong section, bound to be a few, this will become evident after a couple of results and we will adjust fixtures so we don't need emails stating in the wrong section...results will dictate after a couple of weeks.
We hope to announce fixtures next week but first we need EVERY team to make sure they have enough players registered and verified on the GotFootball system
Also an early reminder to all u10s that a weekly online match report has to be completed listing the players and scorers per game (fine if not completed) so maybe worth talking to any older team groups in the club if not familiar with the process
