Clubs are reminded of the importance of correctly filling out and returning match paperwork. Read on to save yourselves unnecessary fines!!

As those who attended our last league meeting will be aware - we have seen a dramatic fall in submissions of match paperwork, as well as incorrect reports being submitted.

The statutory fine for either of the above offences following a match is a £5 charge, but worse still - in not filling out paperwork or returning paperwork correctly you are devaluing Player of the Year and Referee of the Year marks.

Please make sure firstly - that you return your match forms to the Registrations Secretary promptly after your match:

Mr J Tully
12 Fletcher Crescent
Rastrick
Brighouse
HD6 3PR.

All aspects of the form must be filled in correctly:

Date and Time of match;
Competition Played in;
Players taking part - with names filled in correctly as the players were signed on with the league (ie. no nicknames or abbreviations);
Goal Scorers;
Subtitute Use (Yes or No as to whether used);
Referees Name and Mark out of 100 (ask your officials name if you do not know them);
Opponents Player of the Match (you should swap the yellow counter-copy of your teamsheet before a match);
and finally after the match complete the score and sign off the report.

Several clubs are seriously breaching rules at the present time - and must show improvement rapidly to avoid further disciplinary action.

If unsure of any aspect of the above please get in touch with a league official.
We prefer the reports to be correct rather than having to issue fines!
