M.J.F.L Match Day Behaviour sent to all Team Administrators

“MJF League – Match Day Behaviour.

We all know that Volunteers are a very precious resource, this includes Club, Team, League and Match Officials (Qualified & Club) and with the current Covid19 situation it is more imperative that we retain those volunteer resources. However, during the first two weekends of the season there have already been reported instances (a small number) of extremely poor behaviour (abusive and aggressive) by players and team officials, particularly towards Young Referees and other Players. Abuse of any type will not be tolerated by the League Management Committees and reported instances will be investigated and appropriate action taken in accordance with league rules.
The League Management Committee would therefore like to remind ALL Club members of their roles and responsibilities during match day to ensure that poor behaviour has no place in youth football.
Let’s ALL try and help each other and keep safe in the unprecedented Covid19 times by eliminating the need to address these sort of issues.
