The GYAFL has been awarded the highly rated Charter Standard Award by the FA.

The FA Charter Standard League (CSL) is a kitemark that sets an operational benchmark for FA sanctioned leagues.
The CSL Programme assesses the ability of a League to provide high quality, safe and enjoyable football experience against a set of criteria.
It also encourages leagues to continuously develop through ongoing support from County FA staff and the review of an ongoing Leagie development plan as part of an annual health check process.
