Peter Evans, the under 8 and 9 co-ordinator in the league and Blues and Appledores Secretary has been awarded the MBE in the new years Honours awards.

Congratulations goes to Peter from all within the league, a truely well earnt reward for the 25 years of committment to our league. The award is for services to others activities in addition to Youth football.

Peter joined the league back in 1982 when only 5 or 6 teams played at only u/12 and u/14. He has held various roles within the league including 2 years as Secretary and a 5 year stint as Chairman in the mid 90"s. Today we all call upon his knoweldge and experience to help ensure the league runs smoothly.
