Power Play Guidance for ALL Formats.

Development football is designed to create the best learning and fun experience for
young players.
To ensure an imbalance in ability does not spoil this, the FA approved ‘Power Play’ is the chosen guideline adopted by the H&CJGFL for both Mini & Youth Soccer.

The H&CJGFL have introduced the FA Powerplay Rule as a guideline for the 2023/24 season. It is intended that for 2024-25 season onwards, it will be introduced into the H&CJGFL Standard Code of Rules 20 (F).

Powerplay is the formal FA way to balance up games, but there are also lots of things that teams can do to match up and make football matches an enjoyable experience. See attached document for guidance.
