Through a mix of some spectacular finishing and costly defensive mistakes Athletic Midlands romped home to a 7-0 victory. This is the third time this season they have scored 3 or more goals and which will pleasing for the management a clean sheet for Mazar Iqbal and the Athletic defence.
Saltley made a bright enough start to the game but after a couple defensive errors confidence began to drop. The Saltley Stallions coaching team will have to work hard to find a winning formula.
In an interesting side note former Saltley Stallions key man Keighnan Royles came of the bench to make his début for Athletic Midlands but was unable to get himself on the score sheet.
