Charlie White Cup Holders Prepare for New Season

IDEAL FC, holders of the CHARLIE WHITE CUP, have released 14 players during the summer. Most of the players released featured in the exciting cupof final win over COMET. Only four of those who played that night are still with IDEAL. Club Interim Head Of Communications Desmond Runganga IV, said the players left the club on mutual consent. 'The players wanted more first team action and therefore found it necessary to move elsewhere in search of first team action, Runganga said. 'IDEAL boast of a huge players base, with over thirty players remaining, including new summer signings. Interim C.E.O Tendai P Zambuko said they wished the players released well and hope they succeed.

Meanwhile the club's Chief Operating Officer, Tich Kaziwi, has been busy throughout the summer break signing new players. 'We have offered our remaining players and the new guys pay-as-you play contracts', Tich was quated as saying. 'The club's holding company is currently working hard to make IDEAL FC a successful club both on and off the pitch'.

Next season will be a much better one, not only on performance, but also on results. IDEAL have a big reputation of a good football style and performance, but mostly they can't get the desired results.
