With The Blue's eyeing 2nd spot in the league their hopes where slightly dented with the news that Dylan would miss today's games through injury and with Evan also missing Sam prepared Lewis and Owen for a stint between the sticks

A win for Hythe and Dibden would see them crowned champions of the Under 9's Blue league. Lewis started the game in goal and was called into action early as he tipped a long range effort on to the bar. As the half went on Zak made a number of good runs and had his sides first effort with a great shot. Lewis was holding his own in goal as the Blues matched the league leaders all the way. Sam made 1 change in the first half with Riley coming on for Owen and the half ended 0-0.

Full of confidence from the 1st half the Blues started the 2nd well with 2 decent chances falling to Zak and Owen within the 1st minute. The Blues went on to have their best effort of the game as a long goal kick from Lewis was knocked on by Owen for Ryan to test their keeper. Unfortunatley it wasn't long before Hythe and Dibden proved why they would eventually become league champions and despite the best efforts from Lewis the flood gates opened and the game finished 5-0.

Congratulations Hythe and Dibden!!

Well Done Blues!!
