Congratulations to Beacon Hill Rovers F.C.

Beacon Hill Rovers FC, David Park, who picked up the award for Club Website of the Year, was similarly taken aback when he learned of his recognition: “I was extremely surprised to find out I’d won - I had no idea! The day out was fantastic. Everything was superb, the atmosphere was great, topped-off by a cracker of a game!”

“The most rewarding part of my role is when we get to share a success story on the site - a team’s cup win, a great youth tournament or an individual award. The most important is the website’s role in helping people to become, and remain, involved with the club like match and training information, fundraising, promoting events and video clips of our coaching.”

“Without the work of the site’s previous developer, Brian Smith, it wouldn’t be as it is today. Now it’s the contributions from everyone in the club that make it interesting and relevant,” Park added of the website, which features all of the club’s teams from Under 7s to the adult men’s and ladies’ sides, as well as links to Facebook and upcoming events in the local area.
