Prior to kick off a minute silence was observed following the sad passing of Referee Daniel Webster. Exemplary observed by players, officials and spectators

This game struggled to come to life as both sides nullified each other, and as such there were very little goal mouth activity.Dan Pisani had two efforts on goal for Kenosn during the opening 20 minutes but neither caused much alarm.

Beacon Hill did not really trouble the Kenson goal in the first 45 minutes and there only real effort on goal was a header that went wide following good work down the right by Adeyemi.

Beacon Hill Charlie Fitt had to be alert as a through ball looked as though it had split the defence but this was easily dealt with. Sam Haley had a shot from distance that went wide of the Beacon Hill upright, before a Will Ritchie free kick was blocked and Sam Sullivan headed over from the resulting corner

Beacon Hill came close to breaking the deadlock when Ritchie cleared off the line from a Will Sims effort.

Both sides traded blows but neither good break open the tight defences. Pisani looked the most likely for Kenson but failed to test the Beacon Hill keeper.

The game looked as though it was heading for extra time, when a break down the Beacon Hill right with 6 minutes remaining saw the ball break to Sims who netted to put Beacon Hill in front. This lead was doubled in injury time when substitute Merghin Morina netted
