Treasurer
Description
Committee member tasked to maintain our day to day accounts and keep the committee informed of the financial position of the CMSL. Our accounts are to be audited before our AGM in June each year.
We operate an Excel spreadsheet for maintaining the accounts, training will be given on this by the outgoing treasurer. We use Lloyds online banking and multi-signature control for invoice payment. We are open to suggestions on accounts software if that makes the position easier.
The position would suit someone of any age or gender, but who has experience in handling accounts. We would expect the treasurer to attend our committee meetings (6 per year) and our AGM. These will either be Online or physical meetings. At each meeting we would expect a brief financial report. At the AGM we would expect a year end report as well as the accounts being audited by a third party and distributed to all clubs.


Minutes-Secretary
Description
Committee member tasked to ensure all committee meetings are recorded and minuted as per our constitution. Typically, our committee will meet 6 times per year plus our AGM. These will either be Online or physical meetings. This a full committee member position and as such you will be involved in decision making for Mini Soccer throughout South Cambs.
The position has also been responsible for issuing club fines on weekly basis, but we are looking at making this task more automatic.
The position would suit someone of any age or gender who enjoys being involved with football. The person needs to be organised and proficient with MS Word.


Club Visitor
Description
Non-committee member. It is important to Cambs Mini Soccer League that we visit our member clubs on a weekly basis. The league is determined to maintain our expected standards. Primarily the visit is to show support to our clubs but it is also an opportunity for the league to gain feedback on match days. This feedback would include; club facilities, match-day organisation, adherence to our rules, display of RESPECT requirements, as well as feedback on the match and managers/players conduct.
The league will provide a booklet to be used to score the above items. The league would inform the clubs that they would be subject to a visit. We would expect our appointed visitor to introduce themselves to the club officials on site on the day as well as the managers of the home and away teams. Reports would be expected to be returned to the league by the following Monday with indication where standards were lower than expected.
This position attracts expenses of £15 per visit along with travel expenses of £0.35 per mile. Travel would be fixed to a maximum of 30 mile round trip. We would provide necessary paperwork as well as a Mini Soccer badged coat.
The position would suit someone of any age or gender who enjoys being involved with football. They would have to be able to drive to venues. We would expect to arrange two visits per week, but only one visit per Club Visitor. Therefore, there is no real limit to the number of Club Visitors we can have registered as we will spread the visits around. Training will be given.
