An exciting game at Queen Marys today saw FC Bickley needing the 3 points to win the Division. Spartans were no pushover and made it tough for them but were 2-0 down inside the early stages. Bickley then score a third towards the end of the 1st half and looked comfortable until some smooth play by the visitors saw them reduce the deficit to 3-1 shortly before half-time. A gripping 2nd half saw Bickley at times reduced to panic clearances but experience showed through in the end as Spartans made them have "squeeky bums" and work hard until the final whistle. Well played to both teams and congratulations to Bickley for being "top of the pile" once again.
