Please find attached the Rules of The Ziggys Metro Cars Invitational Cup for 2017 to be used in conjunction with the League Handbook.

The extra competition was to be played (following sanction by West Riding County FA) due to a reduction in the number of league matches played by clubs in the 2016-17 season.
The emphasis was on providing additional matches for teams in Division Two which was reduced to 7 teams when Crown FC failed to commence the season and Ovenden Phoenix later withdrew.
The sanctioned rules laid down that the competition would be 4 groups, the winners of which would contest a Semi Final followed by Final.
