The Be Sharps competed in the Regional round of the FA Futsal Cup and narrowly missed out on a place in the Nationals

The Be Sharps travelled to Leeds' Futsal Centre to compete against 9 other local league qualifiers from the North East and Yorkshire.
The format of the Regionals was two groups of 5 teams, with the group winners qualifying for the Nationals and the two group runners-up competing in a play-off for the final North & Yorkshire qualifying spot.
The Be Sharps were drawn in Group B along with Franklin College, Prudhoe Youth FC Futsal, Meanwood Athletic Futsal Club, and Grimsby Borough.

Group Results:
W 4-3 V Prudhoe Youth FC Futsal
D 2-2 V Meanwood Athletic Futsal Club
L 1-8 V Franklin College
W 8-3 V Grimsby Borough

All this meant The Be Sharps finished Group B in 2nd position on 7 pts behind group winners Franklin College. Their play-off, to qualify for the Nationals, was against Group A runner-up Leeds City Futsal Club. Leeds City had narrowly missed out on top spot in their group to Gateshead Futsal Club. Unfortunately a last minute goal from Leeds City meant The Be Sharps cup run was over, with a 3-2 defeat. However they received much praise from competition organisers and fellow teams for their performances after only becoming a Futsal team in October this year.
