Heywood Irish Centre moved 4 points clear at the top of division 1 following goals from Kieron Mayall and Nathan Eastwood in a 2-1 win over Diggle. Samuel Bagshaw scored the consolation for Diggle.
. Newsome in second place lost 2-0 away at Linthwaite Athletic whose goals were scored by Ryan Wadsworth and Bryn Jenkins. George Jowett and Jordan Saville scored for Scholes in their 2-2 draw with bottom club Shelley. Oliver Sutcliffe and Reece Dickinson scoring for Shelley. Berry Brow are up to fourth after a 3-1 win away at Shepley. Joe Wilson (two) and Jonathan Pearson scored for Berry Brow. Samuel Hobson scored for Holmbridge in their 1-1 draw away at Skelmanthorpe with Tom Clarke scoring for Skelmanthorpe.
In division 2 Netherton strengthened their hold on the second promotion place with goals from Alex Vickerman (two), Ryan Burchael and Michael Carter in a 4-1 win away at Huddersfield Laund Hill. Elliott Wilkinson scored the consolation goal for Laund Hill. Adam McKie hit a hattrick and a goal from Corey Lankovits was not enough for Holme Valley Academicals as they lost to Marsh United 5-4. Marsh United moved out of the relegation zone as Almondbury Woolpack lost at home 2-5 to Britannia Sports. Barnaby Wood and Jack Senior scored for the Woolpack and Shyar Khalaf and Jake Waterson (four) scored for Britannia. Lewis Crank, Elliott McNab and Nathan Wood scored as Kirkheaton Rovers comfortably beat Cumberworth 3-0.
Scissett moved up to fourth in division 3 after goals from Lewis Palk, Richard Humphrey and Chris Martin saw them ease past Meltham Athletic 3-0.
In division 4 Holmfirth Town and Mount completed their fixtures with an entertaining 4-4 draw. Kris Turton, Robert Mitchell and Ben Wadsworth (two) scored for Holmfirth. Jay Wells ended the season as Mounts top goal scorer with a double to make it 34. Tevin Watson and Tristan Samuda completed the scoring for Mount.
Jason Evans, Joseph Fagan and a Sean Salford hattrick sent Moorside through to the quarterfinals of the Groom Cup in a 6-2 win over Saddleworth United. Jack Stanton and Michael Cheetham scored for Saddleworth.
In reserve section, division 1 goals from Jack Evans (two) and Alfie Brown saw Netherton beat neighbours Berry Brow 3-1 with Dale Neary scoring for the Brow.
Despite goals from Martin Clee and the veteran Matthew Webster, Holme Valley Academicals remain bottom of division 2 after losing at home to Britannia Sports A 9-2. Will Winnard (four), Matthew Smith-Wike (two), Matthew Lenihan, Harvey Miller and Ben Crossland scored for Britannia. Cumberworth stay in the promotion places as they beat Scissett 2-0 with goals from James Earnshaw and David Dunn. Holmbridge lost out to a much-changed AFC Lindley 4-0. Lindley made eight changes from last weeks starting eleven against Holmbridge and won with goals from Usman Adelekelo, Luke Bedford, Tyler Boswell and Godpower Ishaku.
Cumberworth A moved up to third in division 3 with goals from Joshua Hollings (two), William Higham and Robert Flockton in a 4-2 win away at Deighton. Hade Edge moved up to fourth with a 2-1 win over Grange Moor Saints. Jake Marshall scored both goals for the Edge and Alistair Wain scored for the Saints. Slaithwaite United stay top after goals from Josh Moore (two), Dominik Moorhouse, James North, Scott Garside and Ben Boulton saw off a spirited Mount in a 6-2 win. James Richardson and Scott Kenworthy scoring for Mount. Adam Summerscales, Josh Goodwin and Thomas Lawton scored for bottom club Wooldale Wanderers in their 3-0 win over Netherton A.
Brook Motors Development had a fine 5-0 away win at Cumberworth B with goals from Josh Armitage (two), Richard Denton, Arun Lalli and Richard Hayton. Fothergill and Whittles A went top of division 4 after goals from Ben Jorgensen (two), Tyler Pickersgill and Jonathan Barnes were enough to beat Honley 4-3. Ben Dewhirst, Daniel Colbeck and Tim Marsh scoring for Honley.
In the Huddersfield FA Trophy Deighton Reserves progressed to the quarterfinal comfortably beating Linthwaite Athletic A 2-0.
