Huddersfield Laund Hill are second after their 5-2 win over Kirkburton with goals from Jordan Jabar (two), Matthew Lorryman, James Knowles and Nicholas Townend. Joseph Lockwood scored twice for Kirkburton. David Chew, Ryan Trafford, Tom Lockwood and Lewis Palk scored for Scissett as they beat Fothergill and Whittles 4-3. A brace from Connor Durkin helped AFC Volunteers gain top spot in Division 2 in a 2-0 win over Grange Moor Saints. Cumberworth moved out of the relegation places following their 3-1 win over Dalton Hotel Reserves with goals from Harry Stubbs, William Kilner and Jack Byrne with Jordan McMinn scoring for Dalton.
In Division 3 leaders Berry Brow A were held to a 0-0 draw by third placed Slaithwaite United Reserves. Skelmanthorpe Reserves stay second following their 5-1 win at AFC Lindley Reserves with goals from Jack Haigh (two), Jahmal Lewis, Finlay Watson and Danny Phillips. James Gilling-Kelly scored for Lindley. Mount picked up their first win of the season with a 4-3 win at Heywood Irish Centre with goals from George Bailey, Sam Dawson, William Jennings and Jamie Knight. Cameron Taylor, Carlton Balmer and Richie Evans scoring for Heywoods. Holmbridge Reserves were held to a 3-3 draw by neighbours Hade Edge. Goals for the Bridge were scored by Felix Beaumont, Gary Parr and Lewis Elsy. Jake Clayton, Alexander Trowell and Cameron Young scoring for the Edge.
Cumberworth Reserves moved up to fourth place in Division 4 after a hard fought 2-1 win over neighbours Scissett with goals from William Higham and Shelden Rodgers. Adam McKie scoring for Scissett. Grange Moor Saints Reserves move up to third place with goals from Ellis Brown (two), Padman Vatani (two) and Jordan Wells in a 5-1 win over Linthwaite Athletic A. Mitchell Bryden, Sebastian Weigh and Chris Philpot scored for second placed Diggle Reserves in their 3-3 draw with Holme Valley Academicals Reserves. Will Matthais (two) and Matthew Webster scoring for the Accies. Lewis Toner, Piotr Jatczak and Aaron Fiddes scored for Dalton Hotel Thirds in their 6-3 loss to Wooldale Wanderers Reserves. Goals for Wooldale were scored by Anthony Hutt (two), Jake Marshall, Luke Barraclough and Calum Giles (two).
Deighton A maintained their 100% record and kept top spot in Division 5 with goals from Mario Richards (two), Alan Nicholls (two), Emick Katika (two), Kyle Matthews and Simon Douglas in their 8-0 win over Cumberworth A. Skelmanthorpe A stay in second place following their 5-2 win at Fenton United. Goals for Shat were scored by Aaron Haigh, Joe Howson, Frankie Smith (two) and John Mosby. Joshua Baxter-Wild, Tyler Kershaw and Kieran Salmon scored for Fothergill and Whittles Reserves in their 3-1 win over Brook Motors. Almondbury Woolpack Reserves beat Mount Reserves 5-0 with goals from Stephen Brook, Connor Fitzel, Dan Bradley, Tim Kelly and Ryan Kennedy.
In the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup, Berry Brow cruised in to the third round beating Springhead from the Manchester Football League Premier Division 4-1 with a goal from Daniel Facey and a hattrick from Kyle Walton. Linthwaite Athletic also moved into the next round beating Featherstone Colliery from the Wakefield District League Premier Division 3-1 with goals from Jake Morley (two) and Nathan Wadsworth. Cowling who play in the Skipton & Craven Football League Premier Division made the long trip down to Netherton and were rewarded with a 2-1 win, they will play Linthwaite in the next round.
In the West Riding County FA Challenge Trophy Honley progressed to the next round beating Pollington from the York Minster League Division 1, 3-2 with goals from Ben Lindley, Owen Dallagher and Dylan Brett. They will play Fairbank United away in the next round. Allerton played Leeds City Fifths and comfortably won 4-1 with goals from Adam Khan (two), Hamza Iqbal and Umais Khan. In the next round they have been drawn away to Golcar United Reserves. In the only all District League tie Berry Brow Reserves beat Honley Reserves 3-1 with goals from Jamal Bent, Dean Siddiq and Connor Kelly. Jermaine Edwards scoring for Honley.
