Kieran Mayall hit a hattrick for Heywood Irish Centre in their 3-0 win at Skelmanthorpe who remain in the relegation places. Britannia Sports moved out of the drop zone after a fine 3-2 win at Fothergill and Whittles with goals from Chris Fowler, Alex Pearson and a winner from Sam Gledhill with seconds remaining on the clock.
Deighton clinched promotion and the division 2 title following their top two clash with nearest rivals Netherton. Dante Newell (two) and Coron Rowe sent Deighton in to a 3-0 lead before Adam Robertshaw and Jack Evans dragged Netherton back into the game. Netherton couldn’t get the elusive equaliser and Deighton held on for the win. On Tuesday night Billy Prady scored the only goal of the game as Holme Valley Academicals inflicted a second defeat on Netherton in 4 days. Netherton are also promoted to division 1 having lost only 3 games all season. Diggle continued their good run of form beating Almondbury Woolpack 7-0 and drawing with Lepton Highlanders 3-3. Scissett had a good week with a 5-2 win at Kirkburton and 3-1 win at Cumberworth to move them up to fifth in the table. Jason Evans hit four for Moorside in their 5-4 win over Brook Motors whose goals were scored by Luke Armitage (two), Callum Aspland and Michael Hirst. Kirkheaton Rovers stay third in the division following goals from Ben and Dan Hallitt, Nathan Goddard, Robert Holroyd and Mackenzie Longley in their 5-1 win over bottom side Cumberworth.
Saddleworth United crowned a fine season with a 9-1 win at Holmfirth Town to clinch the division 3 title. Meltham Athletic remain in second place completing their fixtures with goals from Connor Lockwood-Jackson and Coby Robshaw in a 2-1 win over Holmfirth Town on Tuesday night. Honley are up to third, a point behind Meltham with a game in hand after their 4-1 win at Marsden and 6-0 win at Hade Edge. Grange Moor Saints could still have a say in promotion following their 7-2 win over AFC Volunteers and 3-2 win over Wooldale Wanderers. Honley play their last league game of the season against Grange Moor Saints.
The Final of the Huddersfield FA Trophy will be between Holmbridge Reserves and Berry Brow Reserves following Berry Brow Reserves 3-1 semi-final win over their A team.
In the reserve teams section AFC Lindley were relegated to division 2 after their 3-0 defeat at Newsome.
In division 2 Holmbridge remain top after a narrow 2-1 win at Brook Motors with goals from Bailey Bedford and Sam Carr. Meltham Athletic drew with Slaithwaite United 1-1 and Scissett were held to a goalless draw by Linthwaite Athletic A. Jack Wallace hit a hattrick as Skelmanthorpe hammered Grange Moor Saints 9-1.
Kirkheaton Rovers clinched the division 3 title with goals from Steven Mitchell, Callum Chima and Lewis Crank in a 3-0 win over Fothergill and Whittles Thirds.
