Another week of fixtures were decimated again on the 14th December
Mother Nature continued to be unkind to nearly all the competitions this weekend. The FA Womens Cup and the Berks & Bucks County Cup suffered postponements, and Southern Region again was badly hit.
In the Premier Division, Southampton Saints recorded a 3-0 win over Shanklin in a replay of the 31 August fixture. In the First Division, the only game played saw Southampton Saint Reserves get back into action with a 2-0 defeat over Banbury Utd. After an 8 week layoff this was an excellent result for Saint Res.
In the Berks & Bucks Cup, Reading Ladies progressed with a 6-1 victory over County League side Ascot United, and Bracknell won with a walkover after MK Wanderers were unable to field a side for the game.
The remaining 2 fixtures (Wycombe vs Woodley Saints, and Chesham vs Maidenhead) will be played on 21 December.
