The FA can confirm that ESPN’s first live FA WSL match next month will be the London derby between Chelsea Ladies and Arsenal Ladies.

The match will take place at Tooting & Mitcham FC and ESPN will start broadcasting at 5pm, although the build-up at the ground will start at 3.30pm featuring a host of pre-match entertainment including free coaching for kids and a surprise appearance from some very special guests.

To celebrate the launch of The FA WSL, Chelsea have introduced some very special prices with tickets available to children for £1 and families for £5 for advance sales.

Tickets will be on sale from this week by clicking here http://www.chelseafc.com/page/TicketNews/0,,10268,00.html or you can purchase them at the Tooting and Mitcham ground itself.

Chelsea Ladies manager Matt Beard is already looking forward to the game and the start of the new league, saying: “It’s been a long time coming, but the excitement is starting to build.

"The day is going to be a real family occasion so come down early, join in with the activities and enjoy the atmosphere.”

ESPN will bring viewers six live games from the WSL’s inaugural season, with coverage fronted by ESPN presenter Kelly Cates. ESPN will also produce a weekly highlights show that will keep fans up-to-date with all the latest action and be aired on Tuesday evenings.
